Orvas
Orvas wines is a private project of Mr. Branko Roglič, owner of Orbico Group. After he renewed his family estate in 1984, he started purchasing grapes, gaining wine production, as a pure.
Several years after, he planted the varietals of Pinot Gris, Žilavka and Kujundžuša. It was his first serious approach to wine production. After purchasing of some ground area on Dingač and Postup, where he planted “Plavac mali”, he build a small winery in Župa Biokovska. He have no goal for big production, but small, “boutique” production, producing high quality wine with much love and care.
Flagship wine is Postup, which produced in the cellar of Skaramuča, in Pijavično on Pelješac peninsula.
Postup
Postup is a premium red wine produced from Plavac mali grapes, exclusively from the Postup position, on the southern slopes of the Peljesac peninsula. It is served at room temperature with dark meat, game, roast, ripe cheeses, fried / marinated blue fish and brodetto.
